As a child, I engaged in many extra-curriculum activities. In fact, it was hard to tell which I enjoyed most. Imagining my world was part of these activities. Asides, my now shattered dream of marrying Javier “Chicharito” Hernández (Right! I am a football fan), I also dreamt of my Help Empire. A magnificent building where lives will be transformed. The plan requires millions of naira, so, on my own I thought; “It’s easy, let me keep the dream and work till I make the money”. THE WORST PLAN EVER!
Don’t get me wrong. The dream is huge but a heart does not wait to be large before it starts beating!
Theodore Roosevelt was right to say; “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.”
In my “never ending independent learning” journey, a wonderful heart taught me of the triple Ts. Time, Treasure and Talent. This brings the idea that anyone at any point has something to offer. What happened to volunteering to achieve that which we believe in?
The dream is not shattered but before then, something positive has to be done. Value has to be added, something is always there to be offered. It might be little but “Little drops of water makes a mighty ocean.”
It should never wait, It begins now!
