What would you look like in the next ten years?
Ijeoma’s question excited the children, if I didn’t spend the day with them, I would probably assume that someone fed them candy. Mola seemed to take delight in the topic more than anyone in the room. However, I hinted the six-year-old; “Soon you will be older, your voice will become deeper, you will grow beards and go bald.” He replied; “Oh! But that won’t be a problem, I will cut off my beards and put them on my head“. I continued; “Well, that will make you beardless.” He deemed his eyes like Bruce Lee of critical thinking and posed a rhetorical question; “Who said I would cut off everything?“
I could laugh at his ideas and extinguish them. I could thrash them like used serviettes but I would lose CREATIVITY.
